HungerU is a mobile educational exhibit that travels to campuses around the nation raising awareness of food and nutrition security issues.
The philosophy of HungerU is that every student in every discipline has the potential to be part of the global hunger solution now and throughout their lifetimes.
- The exhibit uses everything from games to serious interactive tools to capture students’ attention and create opportunities for conversation and education.
- HungerU is staffed by current students and recent graduates who travel with the exhibit and talk to their peers about global food and nutrition security and agricultural development issues in the U.S. and around the world on a peer-to-peer level.
- Since the Tour first launched in fall 2012, HungerU has visited over 70 college and university campuses and personally interacted with over 160,000 students across the country.
